The M group provides various calculated values derived from the direct analogue quantity measurements associated with the T group Logical Nodes.
These M Logical Node values are typically going to be transmitted as polling or Reporting using client/server as defined in IEC 61850-8-1.

| 12 | MMTR | 3ph Wh, varh or VAh |
| 13 | MMXN | Non-phase-related measurement |
| 14 | MMXU | r.m.s. I, V and F and giving W, var, VA and PF. |
| 15 | MPRS | Pressure measurements |
| 16 | MSQI | Positive, Negative and Zero sequence components |
